Joining trade exhibits
For a start-up entrepreneur, penetrating the mainstream market isn’t really easy, but it is not really impossible and hard. It just require more work in terms marketing and product introduction.
One way of introducing your company, products and services is by joining trade show exhibits conducted in various malls, schools and other locations specifically created for such events.
It is definitely a cost-effective approach of reaching out to the market, since this exhibits are most often promoted and advertised by the organizers. And if it is from one who conducts the event on a regular basis, chances are there they already have regular event-goers and supporters.
Now, while there are already people – prospective customers, who are going to the event, there is still an effort that is required on your part to make your booth stand-out from the rest of the booths in the exhibit.
There are lots of ways to make it stand out, by using bright colors, a unique displays, and more. But one effective way, that I haven’t seen yet in the events I’ve been to, is by using table covers that announces your company name, slogan or promotion.
With your both in an ideal location in the exhibit, and unique table top displays, the sign on your table cloth will definitely be noticed, and will convert to more sales for you.
A tip on exhibit organizers – be sure to ask around before you give that down payment for the booth. Choose one that has a long track record and a good reputation.
