Venues of Labor Day job fair

The Department of Labor and Employment released the different venues of Labor Day Jobs and Livelihood Fairs which will happen simultaneously across the country on May 1.
New graduates, returning OFWs and others who are also seeking employment, please check the list below for the job fair venue near your place.
CAR – SM Baguio; Baguio Convention Center
Region 1 – SM Rosales, Pangasinan
Region2 – Francisco L. Dy Coliseum, Cauayan Isabela
Region 3 – SM San Fernando; SM Baliwag
Region4A – SM Sta. Rosa; SM Rosario Cavite
Region4B – Divine World College, Calapan City
Region5 – SM Naga
Region6 – SM Iloilo, SM Bacolod
Region7 – SM Cebu City; Cebu International Convention Center; Abellana Sports Complex Cebu City; Macias Sports Complex Dumaguete City
Region 8 – Tacloban City Convention Center
Region 9 – Western Mindanao State University Gymnasium Zamboanga City; Gaisano Capital Pagadian City
Region10 – SM Cagayan de Oro
Region11 – SM City Davao and Gaisano Mall Davao

As there are possibilities that the places could be changed before the May 1 event, or additional venues might be added, it is advised that jobseekers follow the labor department through their Facebook page or in Twitter to keep them updated on any announcements.
DOLE is also asking applicants to pre-register at the Phil-JobNet website to facilitate processing of their application on the Jobs and Livelihood Fairs on Labor Day.
The labor department said that by pre-registering at the website, applicants will have “a higher chance of landing a job when they present themselves to the participating employees during the job fair.”
So, do not forget to pre-register and good luck!
