Laundry seminar for the benefits of typhoon victims

Now, here’s a great way for you start a new business and at the same help our countrymen who were affected by the recent typhoons that hit the Philippines.

Mr. Laundry Shoppe’s Laundry seminar schedule for November will be held this November 21, 2009 and this will be for the benefit of the typhoon victims.

Like the previous seminars, it will be held on-site at the Mr. Laundry Shoppe’s location at the 12 Mayor Ignacio Santos Diaz  St. (former Banahaw St.), Cubao, Quezon City.

This seminar is regularly conducted by my entrepreneur friend Nette to help those who want to start their own business.

It’s the Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, a one-day event jam-packed with inspiring forum, mentoring sessions, and seminars bound to inspire everyone to start their dream business.

Laundry business seminar for August 2009

Here now is the laundry business seminar schedule for August 2009 being conducted monthly by my friend Nette of Mr. Laundry Shoppe.

Place: 12 Mayor I.S. Diaz St. (former Banahaw St.) Cubao, Q.C.

The seminar site is the location of Mr. Laundry Shoppe itself, and Nette has been doing this for more than three years now where she’s unselfishly sharing all her expertise and experience at the laundry business.

Job Fair: Trabaho sa Turismo 2009

This is just to announce to all jobseekers that on May 22 to 23, 2009, the Department of Tourism (DOT) will be holding a job fair at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. The jobs fair dubbed as “Trabaho sa Turismo” will be having at least 270 employers participating in the said event.

RA 9593, The National Tourism Policy Act of 2009

The Republic Act 9593, also known as the National Tourism Policy Act 2009, was signed into law by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 during the culmination of the two-day One Visayas Summit on Climate Change inside the Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort Hotel and Spa in Cebu.

RA 9593 is an act declaring a national policy for tourism as an engine of investment, employment, growth and national development. The law will give a boost the country’s tourism industry, strengthening the Department of Tourism (DOT) and its attached agencies to effectively and efficiently implement tourism policies.

200,000 jobs await Filipinos in Middle East

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo attended the Middle East Conference this Sunday, a conference that proved to be fruitful as she was assured of 200,000 jobs by Middle East employers for the rest of 2009.

The 200,000 jobs waiting for Filipinos was commited to the President through a manifesto that was given to her during the conference in Dubai. The manifesto which is also containing the output of the forum including job orders for Philippine workers.

BIR expands coverage of its electronic filing and payment system (eFPS)

The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issued a new taxpayer rule that aims to expand the coverage of its electronic filing and payment system or eFPS.

eFPS, which was launched by BIR in 2001 to simplify filing and payment of taxes as well as improve taxpayers’ compliance, used to require only large taxpayers to use the system, or those with net worths of at least P300 million, insurance companies, and banks.
