Is it safe to autoload yet?

I used to load my prepaid cellphone as I was getting inquiries on my personalized items every now and then, especially my personalized chocolate bars. My network provider is Globe, and I was having no problem as far as communicating with others is concerned, both with Globe and those with other network.

But one day, I noticed upon inquiry of my balance on 222, my load balance is not correct. What’s worse is that, I inquired it again after a few minutes, I got a different balance and this time it’s much lower than the first one.

Eventually, my load balance became zero, nil, and I haven’t sent a text nor called anybody. My reaction – GLOBE IS STEALING MY LOAD!

Where are those ATMs when you need them?!

Just when you thought that you can get your money anytime, you can’t find an ATM that can provide the service that it was supposed to give. I just arrived home after trying at five ATMs – yes, that’s five! And not one was working!

Well so much for the interconnection of Megalink, Bancnet and Expressnet, if the bank who owns the machine are inefficient, technology is nothing. It is still very much dependent on the dedication and commitment of the people to provide service by making sure these machines are functioning and has money in them.

Those three I’ve mentioned are all represented by the ATMs I went into.

I’ll say it again, technology is nothing without dedicated customer service.

I finally got my PayPal verified!

Yes! Now I can finally withdraw those money online that I’ve been earning for quite a while. They’re really not much, but they sure can be handy for those small emergencies. Seriously now, I am really happy that I finally got my PayPal verified after a long wait.

I don’t have a credit card, just like I said in my previous post in Hoping to get my PayPal verified, I applied for an EON Card at Union Bank which I was told is accepted at PayPal. After almost two weeks from application I got my EON Card, but I was told that it will take three days for my card to be activated for ATM purposes, and another two weeks before I can apply it at PayPal.

Get all the details first

My recent experience with Rated K has taught me a lot. One, is that you should always get all the details first before agreeing on anything, especially the remuneration, if there is anything involved. Because I thought this was something that is ‘automatic’ I never really asked about it, or I was too shy about it.

It was not really my concern at the start actually, but after getting my internet connection suspended, my finances suddenly became an issue to me. I was hoping I can get anything from it. But since it was something that was not really discussed, I guess I should not really expect anything.

Although I was advised by a friend that I have the right to ask since they will be earning from my story (yes, those ads are not cheap are they?) Unfortunately, I just do not have the courage to ask. And since I did not ask, I did not receive.

In fairness, I did get a little honorarium, which is enough to cover the income I lost from being absent for 3 days from work.

So there it is, before getting into anything, it won’t hurt to ask “What’s in it for me?”

Hoping to get my PayPal verified

September 3, 2008 by Roy · 5 Comments

I failed with BDO but I was fortunate to get my money credited back by them, yet still up to now my PayPal is not yet verified. Sure, I can still receive payment in my account, but I can’t withdraw them yet until I have a bank credit card or debit card which is accepted by PayPal.

Today I applied for an EON Card by Union Bank, I was told that this one is accepted by PayPal. Before I applied, I asked the New Accounts clerk first if EON Card is indeed accepted by PayPal and he confirmed it, adding that it is the one being used by their client in their PayPal transactions. He is just not aware of the procedures in applying EON to PayPal.

So I immediately filled up an application to get my EON Card. The fee for the card P350.00, and there is no maintaining balance. However, the card requires at least two weeks to be processed and approved. So I still have to wait for the confirmation letter to arrive at our house, it is only then that I will know if my EON Card application is approved or not. If approved, I can go back to the branch to get my card. The P350.00 fee will only be paid once the account is approved.

A good enough procedure I must say. Two weeks will pass anyway, whether I have an approval to wait or not. Now, at least I have a chance to get my PayPal approved even if I do not have credit card.

For those who are not yet aware of what a PayPal, you can check my post -What is PayPal?

Sign up for PayPal and start accepting credit card payments instantly.

Finally! My first real online earning!

I finally reached the minimum payout in MyLot which is $10! This my first real online income since I have been signing in all those affiliates and pay-to-sites I stumbled upon. Among all them, MyLot is by far the easiest and most fun doing.

You just don’t click blindly without even paying attention to what your clicking. Honestly now, have you ever read those those ads your clicking on PTC’s? And the fact that they’re just paying you $0.01 for that (some even just ($0.001) doesn’t encourage you to read really. And with that amount, it will take forever to reach the minimum payout of $10!

But with MyLot, reaching the $10 minimum payout is so easy and fun. You wouldn’t even notice it cause you will be enjoying yourself. Discussing with people half the globe away from you, on any topic under the sun. You will actually forget that you’re earning there.

I could’ve have reached the minimum payout earlier, had I not been so busy lately. But it’s really not bad, I’m just on my second month of membership and I haven’t been actively logging in lately. That is why I’m very thankful for reaching the $10 minimum. I haven’t paid yet, as the payout will on the 15th of the next month. I’m so excited, I might even blog about it when I finally receive the payout.

So let me invite you earn and have fun with at MyLot… and fun and easy way to earn money online!

What is PayPal?

I created this post because in one of my post regarding BDO in my House Of Puroy blog, a friend asked me what a PayPal is, and even continued with ‘can I earn money with that?‘ This doesn’t really surprised me, because I for one have learned to use PayPal only recently, although I have been made aware of its existence before. Honestly, I still haven’t explored the PayPal potentials because for one, I’m still not verified and second, I haven’t received any payment yet nor paid anyone yet, with it.

Though not really an expert, I’ll try my best to explain what PayPal is (at least to my comprehension). First Paypal is not something that earns you money. It’s not like any online opportunities wherein after you signed in and do some stuffs, cash will flow in. It’s not like that. PayPal don’t earn you money. At least, not in the way I mentioned.
