Business failure… reasons
Filed under: Entrepreneurship, entrepreneur, management, roysville, self-help
Here I am writing what I believe were some of the reasons why I failed in my businesses before. I am writing them here for two reasons. Primarily, for me to serve as a reminder so that I may not repeat the same mistakes, and second, for those who may read this may learn too from my experiences, and thus save them costly errors in their own business.
Reasons for failing in business :
A medley of knowledge
I would like to think of myself as a talented person. I know how to do a lot of things.
But apparently, “Jack of all trades – master of none” didn’t work for me. In fact, it could probably be one of the main reasons I failed. I know a lot of things, yet I wasn’t able to develop anything into a full grown opportunity.

Ideal home business for summer

Indeed, summer is already here… and so is summer heat! And this brings business opportunities to homebased people… and your neighbors will even thank you for it!
I’m talking about businesses that will help them tolerate, and enjoy summer. These businesses are as follows:
Halo-halo
Yes! That good old concoctions of sweetened fruits and colorful flavors, topped with crushed ice is always a welcome treat during summer. And if you do good, you can even continue this business all-year round!
And to add a twist, you can even offer Halo-halo delivery. Your neighbors would only need to text you, so they won’t even need to go under the sun’s heat.
Nothing like an extra service to keep your customers happy!

Welcome to my new home!
If you’ve been to my old home, thank you for following me here in my home.
Finally, Roysville is now at its own domain where I will share more business views… from my own business experiences, books that I read and those shared to me by experts.
Already, I am excited to the potentials of this blog.
I hope you will subscribe here too, as I will no longer update the old blog where this used to be.
Thank you and once again…
Welcome to Roysville!
P.S. I forgot to mention, that this blog would not have come into existence without the patience of Eric of Blog De Manila.
Thanks bro!
I never had it this good
With only a week after I announced my new website, I already had 128 unique visitors. I know it doesn’t really amount to anything, especially if you’ll asked those established bloggers who gets more than 100 visitors per day. But like I said, although it was created in the first week of July, I have just officially announced it last week.
I know, most of those visitors were my friends. All of whom came to show support. All were there before with me… and all want to see me back on my feet again. And this show of support overwhelms me.
If you’ll browse my blog now, you’ll notice that it really doesn’t have anything much at this moment. No ads, no spectacular blinking widgets, no visual pizzas, no promotions… and all three text posts, which include this, are all that it has. Yet, in all these posts, there’s nothing but sincerity… and a geniune and conscious effort to stand up again.
I know that I, and this blog, still have a long way to go. But like I said, I will take it a step at a time. Small steps perhaps, which I hope to turn into strides. In the meantime, allow me to celebrate this 128 hits as I never really had this much in the first weeks of my other blogs. And I know, all these were because of the overwhelming support of my friends who believe in me. This, together with my inspirations which are my children… are reasons enough for me to continue in my quest.
Welcome To Roysville!
After a self-imposed hiatus, because of one business failure after another… and the death of my wife, I am now seriously considering again to go back into the entrepreneurial scene. Honestly, at this moment I still don’t have any concrete plan of what to do. Heck! I don’t even know where to start. The only thing I’m sure of right now is, I want to go back again.
Slowly I will trace where I left off. Carrying with me the lessons learned from previous failures and a firmer dedication to go on no matter what. Why the determination? Simple, because right now I have nothing. That only means I have nothing to loose. And this deficiency is in fact the stepping stone that will help me stand again and help me attempt to climb the ladder of success… again.
